The trick to using Xrefs in text insets is as follows: Place all required Xref markers in the source text. Then point to these markers in the container files. If this is followed for all your Xrefs you shouldn't have any problems. Your unresolved references, if not on Body or Master pages, are probably contained in text insets. Follow the procedure above and all should work. Eric L. Dunn Is it legal in Frame to have text inset files include cross references to other text inset files? We have had problems with our book - unresolved cross reference messages when generating book file or opening the chapter files (but no unresolves found by searching the body or master pages), as well as files "blowing up" with internal errors. Could our problems be related to these cross references in text insets? How about cross references from text insets to chapter files in the book? ====================================== ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
