I suggest you have three files and three templates. These files are as follows:
1- Working File and template.
2- English File and Template.
3- French File and Template.

You work in the document 1 until ready to deliver. You then make two copies (One
for the French output the other for the English).

Into each copy you then import the corresponding template. In the English
template, the French condition is set to hide and the table continuation
variable is "(Continued)". In the French template, the English condition is set
to hide and the table continuation variable is "(Suite)".
