Adobe German TS recommends to use TIFF (very high resolution if you intend to print it) instead of EPS (FrameMaker 6.0) when you need to generate HTML via WebWorks Publisher SE 6.0.x (reason: WWPubSE 6.0.x crashes with many EPS files created by Adobe Illustrator). No problem to convert all files to highres TIFF in a Photoshop batch, maintenance and switching to proper resolution set of files before either print/PDF/HTML output (talking about some hundreds of MB here) is not very elegant, though. And PDF file size blows up like hell, no matter what you do, so it's either print/HTML or PDF, not both.
