Deborah: Just a thought, could the missing fonts be in an .eps graphic? I have had that happen to me. Good luck. (And believe me, I know how to do that so as to strip out the doggone old stuff.) And I've got a mystery on my hands: *None of the files in the book reports any missing fonts upon opening. *The book updates successfully with only the book file open. *The book file itself is new (re-created from a chapter file). Yet when I update the book, for 7 of the 40-odd files in the book, Frame (a) opens console windows that report the former fonts missing from these files...and (b) CLEANS OUT the missing fonts reported for those 7 files from the console windows by the time it completes the book update. I have saved both the book file and one of the weird files to MIF, opened them and examined the MIF, and found *no* instances of the missing font names anywhere in either file. Suggestions?
