I thought I'd post this before someone starts another rumour... At InfoWorld.com, Robert X. Cringely posted the following info in his column of February 2: ( see http://www.infoworld.com/articles/op/xml/01/02/05/010205opcringely.xml ) "FrameBreaker In what may be a sign of the times for the publishing industry, Adobe laid off its FrameMaker team. [...] Not only has the team been disbanded, but now sources close to the situation are saying that Adobe may not even support FrameMaker 6.0 with much enthusiasm." Dov Isaacs from Adobe said this on Adobe's User-to-user forums: --------------------------------------------------------------- From: "Dov Isaacs" <isaacs@adobe.com> Newsgroups: adobe.framemaker Sent: 5 feb 2001 08:28 Subject: Re: Is FrameMaker gone for good? > Absolutely no truth to Cringely's rumor. > > - Dov (for Adobe Sytems Incorporated!) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas Michanek, FrameMaker/UNIX/MIF expert mailto:Thomas.Michanek@telia.com (Sweden) http://w1.133.telia.com/~u13304072/framers - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
