Yes! I'm running on a new Windows 2000 Pro laptop, and I have both 5.5.6 and 6.0 installed so that I can make minor corrections to older docs without dragging them through the variable changes in 6.0. I've been working as much in 5.5.6 as in 6.0 in the past week and it seems fine all round. (book files, regular files, updating, generating PDF...)
