Re: Heeeeelp!! Cross-references picking up non-existent characters [BrainbenchQ.41]

FRAMESTERS:

Actually, this was Brainbench certification Question 41 to see how many
advanced Framesters there are out there.

Errrrr... It helps if the target paragraph you have selected is "hs
SectionHeading"
and not "hs SectionHeadingTOC"! Yes, this file has a flow B with a chapter
TOC imported
by reference. Nice to know that you can make cross references to text
insets -- or can you?

Framesters:

All of a sudden, cross references to headings like

      To create new password

return a cross reference containing

See 'To create a new password 144', on page 99

The " 144" is an en quad followed by a number which varies. There is no
en quad defined in the cross-reference format. There is no en quad and
number at the end of the target heading.

When you open the Cross-Reference dialogue, the spurious characters are
visible at the end of the paragraphs listed in the right pane.

Searching for these characters in the body text finds NOTHING!

Can anyone help? Deadline Monday, and there is heaps to do. Wouldn't you
know!
