All Type 1 font installations on UNIX require PFA and AFM files, instead of PFB and PFM files. (You could use PFB files, but you will probably not be able to print the font correctly...) This is regardless if you use the "fontlist" method or the "psres" method for adding fonts to FM UNIX. Either get the PFA and AFM files from the font vendor, or create them as you seem to have done. Then use the "psres" method as described on my web page. Don't mess with the fontlist file. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas Michanek, FrameMaker/UNIX/MIF expert mailto:Thomas.Michanek@telia.com (Sweden) http://w1.133.telia.com/~u13304072/framers * U P D A T E D O N S E P T . 1 4 * - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
