Hi Patricia -- Depending on which final output format you're looking to do, you can convert the Visio files to graphics files and then use File>Import>File, which will put your graphic in an anchored frame. If you are going to be creating WinHelp files, your best bet is to convert the Visio files to wmf (Windows MetaFile) format. The wmf files are vector-based files, rather than raster/bitmap files, so they have a couple of advantages over bmp files: wmf files are much smaller than bmp files, and they also scale decently, even if they include text. They also work fine in print. For HTML-based help files, you might want to use some other format. Visio 2000 includes the option to save stuff to PostScript and HTML as well as jpeg and gif. Either way, you will want to keep a copy of the vsd file around in case you need to make changes. Also, in your pre-production checklist, add an item about checking the files included in the book against their source vsd files.
