Using Visio .vsd files in FrameMaker 6.0

Hi,

   I've tried to import .vsd files into Frame, and Frame can't convert the
files. Do I need to first convert .vsd to JPG or other graphic format? When
I did that I had trouble both importing and pasting into an anchored frame.
Do I need to create a graphic box using the graphic tool? Can anyone point
me to an information source?
