HTML mapping tables--delete?

Hi;

In trying to clean up our template (paging through MIF helps!), I see all
sorts of tags associated with the HTML mapping tables which have appeared
for some reason or another (we only use PDF).

Can I remove the HTML mapping table and various macro tables from the
reference pages?  Will removing them extirpate them once and for all,
keeping in mind that any table and paragraph formats associated with them
have been removed from the catalogs?

Also, the headings for items such as Footnote etc are in Times Roman, which
we don't use.  Can I remove the headings?  They seem only to reflect the
graphic frame name anyway.

Finally, after doing all this, will the template stay clean (as long as no
one tries to produce HTML)?
