Hi Lori--

The short answer is "not really". But there _is_ a workaround:

1. Create an extra temporary condition tag, called "Transfer" or 
something. 
2. Tag something as Transfer. 
3. Use Edit>Copy>Conditional Text Settings to put the Transfer 
setting on the clipboard.  
4. Use Find/Change to find text with conditional tag Alpha.
5. With the text selected, use Change>By Pasting to apply the 
Transfer tag to the text in Alpha. 
6. Use the Change & Find to work through your doc to change 
all of Alpha to Transfer. (With 5.5.6, Change All may crash 
Frame.)
7. Following a similar procedure, change text in the Beta 
condition to the Alpha condition (which is now its correct 
condition). Then change the text in Transfer to Beta.
8. Finally, delete the Transfer tag.
