In Frame 5 or Frame 6? Chapter numbering in Frame 5 is normally handled by 
a autonumber sequence in paragraphs, which is set to Continue from chapter 
to chapter. In Frame 6, it's set from the book file window and menu.

In neither case, though, is the above suggestion needed (nor possible, 
though I haven't tested it).
