Re: Indexes - FrameMaker in combination with Trados



If the index includes page number(s) for each entry, then translating the 
index itself would be a waste of time, since, in the translated version of 
the document text (not the index itself) is almost certainly going to make 
the original index invalid.

Consequently, the translators must translate each index marker that has 
been embedded in the original (presumably English) version of the document. 
I don't know whether S-tagger can make these markers visible to the 
translator, but if it's possible, then that's the only way to do it right.
