How do you go about tracking down phantom fonts Have you searched body, master and reference pages separately? Are you sure no defined but unused character/paragraph formats use the fonts? If yes, I'll bet that the MIF occurrences of the fonts are found in table instances, in particular for default paragraph formats that aren't used. These are stored in the table, but not used and cannot be searched for. Either change the font references in the MIF file, or accept to replace the fonts. You won't have any problems with this substitution. (This is of course a bug in the software from the users' perspective, but I can tell from experience that it's virtually impossible to get anyone at Adobe to understand the problem or register it as a bug. These and other experiences with "high-end" bugs/problems I've found means I have altogether given up reporting FM problems to Adobe. The support personell simply isn't qualified enough.) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas Michanek, [Michagon], Linkoping, Sweden Documentation Consultant, FrameMaker/UNIX expert EMAIL: mailto:Thomas.Michanek@telia.com WWW: http://go.to/framers , or go directly to: http://w1.133.telia.com/~u13304072/framers - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Subscribe to Omni System's "Free Framers" list: send an email to majordomo@omsys.com with "subscribe framers" in the body ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
