*** Your original message appeared on the FrameUsers list. *** This reply is only sent to you, as I'm no longer part of that list. Does anyone know the difference between these two similar > but different errors? If I'm not mistaken, this depends on whether or not an automatic font substitution is specified in the maker.ini file for your font. If a font substitution is specified, it's done in the background without showing a dialog. If a missing font isn't part of the font substitution info in maker.ini, you get the dialog. But I haven't tested this thoroughly. Remember Missing Font Names only affect what font names are actually saved if you later on save a file which had font substitutions. I think the dialog works independent of that setting. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas Michanek, [Michagon], Linkoping, Sweden Documentation Consultant, FrameMaker/UNIX expert EMAIL: mailto:Thomas.Michanek@telia.com WWW: http://go.to/framers , or go directly to: http://w1.133.telia.com/~u13304072/framers - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Subscribe to Omni System's "Free Framers" list: send an email to majordomo@omsys.com with "subscribe framers" in the body ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
