I've just posted a 14-page PDF on how to convert Word files to FrameMaker. It's primarily based on my experience as a consultant, and also includes input from the members of our Phoenix FrameMaker Users Group (FUN). Special thanks to Kim Rosenlof of Honeywell for the table tips. The tips are useful for anyone doing a conversion, or thinking of doing one. The file can be found at http://www.digipubcorp.com/frame.html, and assumes you are working in Windows. The PDF requires Acrobat 4. (Sorry, no 3.0 version available 'cause 5 is due out later this year, according to Adobe's COO. You 3.0 hangers-on are going to be two revs out of date in a few months.)
