RE: Acrobat 4.05 problems update (now it's Acrobat Distiller that seems to be the problem)

An update: The problem my coworker was having has been solved. Turns out
that when we bought our new Xerox DocuPrint 4025 the default driver they
sent was ye ol' Adobe PS 5.1.1 - funny thing is, it seemed to spread to our
other printers...wierd. Upgraded to 5.1.2 and of course problem solved.

I, however, am still having the same problem. I can't generate a ps file
using the Acrobat Distiller printer instance. I've uninstalled and
reinstalled Acrobat, FrameMaker, and 5.1.2 driver and I still lock up
completely when I try to print to a ps file from Frame through Acrobat
Distiller printer instance. (and FWIW it doesn't matter if I'm generating
Acrobat data or not.) I can produce ps files and distill them using other
printer instances with no problem, but I'd rather use the Distiller instance
so I don't encounter other problems down the road.

Any ideas??

Thanks,

Ron

Now when try to Print a PS file my machine locks
up and will not produce anything. I end up having to reboot in order to
clear the Acrobat Distiller printer instance.

My co-worker also just installed 4.05 and now gets an error code (fmpd2)
whenever she tries to distill.

Relevant info:
NT 4 (PIII 256 MB RAM, Service Pack 5)
	Frame 5.5.6
	Acrobat 4.05 update 1
	Adobe PS 5.1.2

Thanks,
