I assume you're on UNIX. No, you cannot Save As HTML with fmbatch, and I think it's safe to assume it cannot be done in FM 6. However, you can use fmbatch to print a PS file with Acrobat data to a watched folder, so that Acrobat Distiller can automatically convert to PDF. At least with Distiller 3, it depends a little on which UNIX platform you're on. However, in my previous employment, I used UNIX shell scripts and fmbatch to automate production work flows (book building, HTML conversion, etc.) There are FM-to-HTML converters out there that can be used with FM on UNIX, and that can be called from scripts. I believe that even WebWorks Publisher can be run in batch on UNIX? Formerly, we used another converter, fmtoweb; however, it's freeware and completely unsupported. But, you cannot call FM's built-in HTML conversion from a script. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas Michanek, [Michagon], Linkoping, Sweden Documentation Consultant, FrameMaker/UNIX expert EMAIL: mailto:Thomas.Michanek@telia.com WWW: http://go.to/framers , or go directly to: http://w1.133.telia.com/~u13304072/framers - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Subscribe to Omni System's "Free Framers" list: send an email to majordomo@omsys.com with "subscribe framers" in the body ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
