How do I get the page number or page number range to appear directly after >"autoconnecting" ? >2. How do I get the words "text flow" to appear in the entry instead of >appearing in a separate entry? Evidently I have to do something to cause the >";" to be taken as a literal rather than a separator. You split the first index entry into two, add a colon to get the See also text on the next index level, and escape the semicolon with backslash: <$startrange>autoconnecting;<$nopage>autoconnecting:<Emphasis>See also <Default Para Font>flow tags\; text flow (I haven't tested this; it might be that you have to split the marker into two if <$startrange> affects the entire marker.) >I also have the following problem: Even though I reformatted the index, >whenever I regenerate it, the page numbers all come out in the original size >(In this case font size 12 instead of font size 9). I assume I can correct >this in the formatting rather than fixing it after the fact. How? All the formatting of the generated index is controlled on a Reference Page called IX. The formatting of page numbers is controlled by the IndexIX paragraph, which normally contains the building block <$pagenum>. Change the formatting of that building block by using a character tag. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Thomas Michanek, [Michagon], Linkoping, Sweden Documentation Consultant, FrameMaker/UNIX expert EMAIL: mailto:Thomas.Michanek@telia.com WWW: http://go.to/framers , or go directly to: http://w1.133.telia.com/~u13304072/framers - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Subscribe to Omni System's "Free Framers" list: send an email to majordomo@omsys.com with "subscribe framers" in the body ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
