Thank you to all those who responded to my request regarding blank pages appearing at the end of my FM files. I should, perhaps, have stated that they were not in books as yet. All respondents went to considerable effort to help me out and it's greatly appreciated. The two solutions I attempted were as follows: >From Charles (surname unknown) <chawtrey@abingdon.geoquest.slb.com> >In offending documents, check in Format>Page Layout>Master Page Usage that >your master page is being used for all pages. Your master page can even be >replaced by "None" which could be your problem (this can give a similar result >to a paragraph tag with asterisk - not "allowed" by you but it still exists). >To be sure, select in the Master Page Usage dialogue box (a) your master page >(should be called Right) and (b) Apply to Pages xx to yy (where xx to yy >covers all the pages in the document). I did all this, but no luck. David Wollenberger suggested: >(snip) you can always manually delete the blank pages by going in the document >to the first blank page and pressing Alt, S, D. This always works. Indeed it did. I don't think that I've found the cause of the blank pages in this instance. Hence, I'm not sure how to prevent it. However, I have a cure - and for that I'm grateful to all.
