Re: Title of Book (appearing in headers/footers)

If I am correctly understanding the questions and answers, we have had
similar problems.

We prefer to use a SINGLE template document for the source of all tags &
formats for an entire series of books.

However, we needed a couple of bits of information to appear in the
headers/footers of the individual pages: the particular book's title and
the particular book's edition number.

The only way that we could find to accomplish this was to create
separate "sets" of master pages for each book in the series. All such
"sets" are in the template. That means that if there are 10 books in
the series, there can easily be as many as 40+ master pages.

However, once the properly named master pages are applied to each
specific book, then everything works fine.

Are doing this the hard way? Any other suggestions?
