Here's a favorite trick of mine for quickly checking what paragraph tags are in use: open the cross-reference dialog and step through the list of tags (click once on the first tag and use the down arrow to step through). If a tag is in use, the instances appear in the "Paragraphs" field. If that field is blank, then the tag is not in use. This trick picks up instances on body, master, and reference pages and catches paragraphs that have only autotext. It does not, of course, visibly catch blank instances of a tag, and it's a single-file-at-a-time solution, but I've found it very handy. -Rhea > ----Original Message----- > From: wheeler.steven@cnf.com <wheeler.steven@cnf.com> > To: framers@FrameUsers.com <framers@FrameUsers.com> > Date: Wednesday, March 22, 2000 3:41 PM > Subject: ditching unused paragraph tags > > >What's the slickest way to identify and delete unused (unwanted) para tags > >in a lenghty doc? > ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
