Re: font behavior



Wim,

You might wish to use a Font EDITING program such as FontLab
http://www.FontLab.com to look at the internal font naming and
numbering.  It is _possible_ that the two fonts in question could have
the same (thus incorrect) internal naming and/or numbering.

BTW, for anybody interested in heavy duty font editing or
versioning/management, I strongly suggest taking a look at FontLab.  (I
am "just a customer" and have found the program to be a lifesaver on
many occasions -- particularly with badly behaved fonts with incorrect
or lacking hinting, etc.)

FontLab also does  PS <--> TT conversion.

The FontLab company additionally has  PC <--> MAC font conversion tools
available.
