Webworks Publisher 2000 is the current version (5.04). WWP 6 is the Professional Edition. WWP Standard Edition is what comes with FM 6; there is a press release on the Quadralay site. WWP 6 is not officially released, AFAIK, but it's being offered to some people by Quadralay and resellers as an advanced purchase (I'm sure anyone who wants the advanced purchase could ask for it). -----Original Message----- From: Dan Emory [mailto:danemory@primenet.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2000 11:44 AM To: Free Framers Subject: Webworks Publisher--I'm Confused There's Webworks Publisher Standard Edition, then there's the Professional Edition, then there's Webworks Publisher 2000. The latter one is the only one mentioned on the Quadralay website (www.quadralay.com). I take it that both the Standard and Professional editions have been superseded by WWP 2000. Since there is nothing about the other two on the Quadralay website, I assume they will shortly be discontinued. Also, no one has mentioned anything about whether templates/applications developed with the Professional Edition are compatible with the new WWP 2000 product. ==================== | Nullius in Verba | ==================== Dan Emory, Dan Emory & Associates FrameMaker/FrameMaker+SGML Document Design & Database Publishing Voice/Fax: 949-722-8971 E-Mail: danemory@primenet.com 10044 Adams Ave. #208, Huntington Beach, CA 92646 ---Subscribe to the "Free Framers" list by sending a message to majordomo@omsys.com with "subscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. ** ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
