I have recently distilled a lengthy FrameMaker document to Acrobat 3.02 and, in Acrobat Exchange 3.02, set the document to open with the bookmark pane displayed. In Acrobat Reader 3.02, when you click on a bookmark the document scrolls to the relevant page and the bookmark pane stays OPEN. But in Acrobat Reader 4.0, the bookmark pane CLOSES and you have to click the toolbar button to re-open the pane again. This is bloody irritating. Does anybody know how to keep the bookmark pane permanently open in Acrobat Reader 4.0? It is clearly not a problem with the document because the expected behaviour occurs perfectly in v. 3.02. -- Regards, Hedley Finger Technical Writer Ericsson Australia Pty Ltd StarHUB NMOSS Project Level 34.31 Melbourne Central Tower Elizabeth Street Melbourne VIC 3000 Australia Tel. +61 3 9301 6214 Cell. +61 412 461 558 Fax. +61 3 9301 6199 Email. hedley.finger@ericsson.com.au Hand Holding Projects Pty Ltd 28 Regent Street Burwood VIC 3125 Australia Tel. +61 3 9809 1229 Cell. +61 412 461 558 Fax. +61 3 9809 1326 Email. hfinger@handholding.com.au ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
