You are a Mif2Go user who has installed the latest version. You get the TableID so that you can use it in Mif2Go's HTML output filter config file to specify particular properties to be used for that table. Holding down the mouse button gives you the original display. We do something similar whan you select an anchored frame, with GraphicID, so that you can specify its conversion properties too. We were probably a bit too intrusive with the TableID display. For the GraphicID, it didn't matter because the status bar was empty at that point anyway. We did want it to be easy to note the ID while editing the .ini file. When we get our new UI up, this will be a lot more automated... -- Jeremy H. Griffith, at Omni Systems Inc.
