Certainly the most frequent single issue that comes up on the framers lists are problems with producing PDF. Adobe's on-line documentation for Acrobat is atrocious, which certainly explains why RTFM doesn't suffice for many issues. The "Acrobat PDF Bible", an IDG Books publication by Ted Padova, ISDN 0-7645-3242-1, is a 700-page tome with hundreds of screen shots and other graphics. I stronngly recomment it: - It is quite comprehensive and well organized. - It covers all the new features in Acrobat 4. - It comes with a CD-ROM containing a searchable PDF version of the book, as well as samples, and lots of free Acrobat plug-ins. It's available at Barnes & Noble for around $30.00. ==================== | Nullius in Verba | ==================== Dan Emory, Dan Emory & Associates FrameMaker/FrameMaker+SGML Document Design & Database Publishing Voice/Fax: 949-722-8971 E-Mail: danemory@primenet.com 10044 Adams Ave. #208, Huntington Beach, CA 92646 ---Subscribe to the "Free Framers" list by sending a message to majordomo@omsys.com with "subscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. ** To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@omsys.com ** ** with "unsubscribe framers" (no quotes) in the body. **
