Equations disappear when converted to PDF

Hi;

Someone here has the following problem.  She is using Frame 5.1 and Acrobat
3.0.  The same behaviour occurs with Frame 5.5.6.  This problem appears if
the equations are resized smaller.

I haven't really worked with equations, and I haven't looked in detail at
this.  I may have to, though.
