FM 5.5.6/Solaris 2.6 crashes X server

I'm running 5.5.6 on an Ultra 5 with Solaris 2.6.  When I select text
and scroll down across a page break, FrameMaker hangs the X server,
which requires that I reboot the system remotely.  (Kids, don't try this
at home!)

This happens with 5.5.3 and 5.5.6.
Happens with OpenWindows 3.6 or FVWM.
Does NOT happen on Sparc 5 with Solaris 2.6 or 2.5.1.

I suspect the system needs a Solaris patch, but so far I haven't found
the correct one.

Anyone else run across this?
