Why not add choice-type (i.e., Yes/No) PageBreak and ColumnBreak attributes
to all your text containers? The EDD format rules determine by the attribute
values whether a break is produced. It makes more sense to use attributes
for this purpose rather than a separate empty container, that inserts
unwanted vertical space.
