Thread-topic: Removing empty para formats
If the question is to delete paragraphs that have no content; then the native Find and Replace will work just fine. Enter the sting "\P\p" (without quotes) to search for start of paragraph (\P) immediately followed by end of paragraph (\p). You do not need to have the "Use Wildcards" option turned on. Replace with absolutely nothing to delete the paragraph. This exact example is used in the Help system - see "Searching for special characters and nonprinting symbols." If the question is instead to delete unused formats from the catalog, then other tools (such as PGF_WHOPPER) are the solution. - Lester ------------------------------------------------------- Lester C. I use PGF_WHOPPER from Cudspan. Works great.
