RE: LOF is not generating properly

Hi Elizabeth,
Check your Reference pages to see if you have two LOF pages, the second one
will likely be named LOF1. We used to get that all the time. The second LOF
page doesn't have any formatting and the end result is exactly as you
describe.
The only solution we ever found was to copy everything from the LOF page,
paste it onto the LOF1 page, overwriting everything on it in the process,
then delete LOF and regenerate. After it regenerates, hopefully correctly,
you can safely rename LOF1 to LOF and it should be fine thereafter.
Try it and see.

Subject: LOF is not generating properly

Good afternoon-It seems I must call on you great people once again for
assistance. It's been a few years (4 to be exact) since I last designed
templates, and the ones I designed never had the towering list of
requirements that my military documents do. However, the good news is that
we are ditching Word for frame, so there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

Anyway, I digress. Here's the scoop: I have a style called Figure in my main
document and have set up two dummy instances of Figure called Figure 1. XX
and Figure 2. YY. The style for Figure is "F:Figure <n+>.". The reference
page style for FigureLOF is "Figure <$paranumonly>. <$paratext>\t<$pagenum>"
and I have specified a right tab of 6.5" with a leader line.

The results I am getting are:

Frequency Spectrum 1
Digital Subsystem 1

instead of

Figure 1. Frequency Spectrum.................1
Figure 2. Digital Subsystem..................1

It seems like the style should be taking (style name appears to be exactly
what it should be) but it isn't.

I checked the Free Framers archive but could not find any relevant
information, and Sarah O'Keefe's book doesn't provide much in the way of
troubleshooting.

Any help is appreciated (greatly).

Thank you,

Elizabeth Klisiewicz
