You should use different series identifiers for headings, figures and tables. For example: H:<$chapnum>.<n+>\t F:Figure <$chapnum>-<n=1> T:TABLE <$chapnum>-<n+> By using all S identifiers, numbering restarts with every <n=1>. If you look at the sample flow below, the very last Heading 2 is not picking up the correct number and is displaying as A.3 instead of A.6. I have included the numbering for each of these styles in hopes that someone might discover why the numbering is broken. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm under the gun and completely on my own in creating these templates. APPENDIX A.
