In plain text files? Perl supports regular expressions
and extends them a little. If you want strict regular
expressions, use sed (from Cygwin or I think there's a
straight Win32 port).

Being a bit brain-fogged from a meeting, I was about to
suggest you talk to (yourself) about using FrameScript
if you want to work in Frame. :-P
