I did would you suggested and downloaded the latest video driver. Unfortunately this did not fix the problem. So on a Wing and a Prayer I did a REPAIR using the Windows 2000 CD. Finally after what seemed like hours (it might have been) the repair was finished. All versions of FrameMaker work fine. The FUNNY thing was that Office 2000 applications stopped working. I had to uninstall and re-install the Office software. With crossed fingers I say that everything seems to be pretty much back to normal. At least Brad will be happy because I was just about finished formatting my presentation using the speakers template. I was working on this when all of this started. :) Just to let you know all versions of FrameMaker (5.5, 6.0 & 7.0) were effected by this problem. As you suggest Dov this was not a FrameMaker problem. I did not reload any version of FrameMaker. Thanks again for all the suggestions every the one that as if I could move everything to the MAC. It is possible that such a driver or module is out-of-date or otherwise incompatible with Windows 2000 and the latest Microsoft update triggers the symptoms. I have seen similar problems with Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 on one of my systems, but not others. Fortunately, I was able to uninstall SP3 in safe mode and go "back" to the configuration prior to installation of SP3. I currently have a call in to Microsoft for that particular situation. First thing I would check is video drivers. If there is an update to yours, download and install (possibly in "safe mode" if necessary) and see if that eliminates the symptoms you describe. - Dov At 8/27/2002 08:22 PM, Ann Zdunczyk wrote: >I have Windows 2000 with the Auto update from Microsoft.
