I would recommend any book put out by Peachpit Press (I believe Elizabeth
Castro has written one about CSS).

I'd start with the material at ZDNet. Go here:
http://www.zdnet.com/developer/.

They also have an outstanding online HTML resource that's really handy for
finding tags/attributes and knowing what the browser compatibility issues
will be with them.
