Phantom hotlink in PDF file

Here's a weird one...

I have a chapter with embedded weblinks. There are 4 links on an even page
and a few more on the following odd page.

Near the the bottom of the odd page one of the even page weblinks is
active. The phantom hotlink (on the odd page) is in the same geographical
location as it is on the even page. However, there is no text, anchors or
hotlink in Frame.

The duplicate link does not appear in the Frame File even with a
Generate/Marker/Hypertext run. The duplicate (Shadow) hot link only appears
in the PDF file.

Has anyone else seen this? Any advice? I have run out of ideas for
go-around fixs.
