A little off-topic comment to this:
when I worked for a CASE software company in 1991, we designed a "box"
in a UNIX application to be used for dropping objects on, after being
dragged from another window (drag-n-drop). This box was officially called
the "drag-on box" and had a large dragon as its icon :-)

BTW, "drop box" would have been more to the point, but that was thought
to give other associations, so "drag-on box" had to do...
