Unless I misunderstand you, couldn't you simply make the name of the book
on the right-hand master page a Cross-reference to the name of the book
in the Title Page? You may need to change the structure of your Title Page
so that the name of the book is put in a single paragraph. If you don't
want the name of the book visible in the Title Page, make it a paragraph
with 2-point white text (or something similar).

Of course, if the file name of the Title Page file varies from book to book,
you'll have the same type of problem when a file is present in more than
one book. Perhaps you can make sure that the file name of the Title Page
file is always the same for all books?
