Frame 5.5 on iBook/Mac OS 9?

Hi, folks,

My husband just got a new iBook (Mac OS 9), and installed his copy of Frame
5.5 on it, but now it doesn't boot except without extensions. I'm surfing
the Mac OS 9 incompatibilities sites, but thought someone here might have a
clue they could loan me quicker...
