Status Bar Anomaly

My status display has started to show "TableID:xxxxxx"  instead of Flow and
Paragraph tag names when the cursor is in a table. This behavior is
document independent. The display shows the expected information while the
mouse button is depressed. Any idea what might be behind this behavior?

FM 5.5.6, NT4 SP4
